Exerciese 1, Task 2.1 & the Excursion to Wittenberg on 31st

Dear all,

This morning I asked Prof. Braun about the task 2.1 of our exercise. He said that while calculating the surface area of both axons, it is not needed to include both side cut areas (the "top" and the "bottom" of the cylinder if I may say so), since they are the way where action potential passes. But it wouldn't bother if the side cut areas are already counted in, since the area is relatively small compared with the cylindrical surface.
The exercise should be handed in one copy for a group of two persons.

The other information is that IKUS arranged an excursion to Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the day of reformation Oct. 31st (Friday, holiday). The meeting point is at 8:40 am before the main entrance of the Hauptbahnhof. It is open to both german and foreign students. Upon registration at the IKUS, 10 Euros would shall be given, but among it 5 Euro is the depot, which would be returned to you if you showed up on time at the Hauptbahnhof. Otherwise it would not be returned.

Schönes Wochenende
